Next Raith Rovers Manager Odds: Scott Brown incoming?
Raith are searching for a new coach after the shock sacking of Ian Murray

Eleven days after the shock departure of Ian Murray, Raith Rovers are still looking for a new manager.
However, Chief Executive Andy Barrowman has indicated that Murray’s replacement will be announced this week, despite many on the shortlist being in jobs elsewhere.
Technical Director John Potter and assistant Colin Cameron guided Rovers to a 1-0 victory over Partick Thistle, but the club will expect a new appointment to be in place before they face Ayr United on August 24th.
Having reached the playoff final last season, Raith fans will be keen to see a positive managerial announcement in the hope that the Fife side can book their return to the top tier of Scottish football after a 27-year absence.

Leading Candidates to be the Next Raith Rovers Manager
Let’s look at some of the names towards the head of the betting market.
Liam Fox
Liam Fox is currently part of the coaching staff at Heart of Midlothian, taking charge of their B-team.
He previously managed Dundee United, although he only enjoyed a 28% win rate with the Tannadice club. However, he was praised for developing several young players during his time in charge..
His deep understanding of the Scottish game and record at nurturing young talent make him an attractive proposition for Raith.
Fox was available at 4/1 earlier in the week but is now the 6/4 favourite to be the new man in charge at Starks Park.
Scott Brown
Celtic legend Scott Brown is cutting his managerial teeth at fellow Championship side Ayr United after a short spell at Fleetwood.
Having taken the reins at Somerset Park only in January, some fans might see a swift move to Raith as premature.
Nevertheless, his playing experience and early steps into management make him an eye-catching potential candidate, and with rumours circulating that Raith expect to make an announcement this week, Brown has been well-backed into 5/2 second favourite.
Darren O’Dea
O’Dea has been steadily building his coaching credentials within Celtic’s youth system, progressing from managing the under-18s to leading the B team.
Currently serving as the Professional Player Pathway Manager at Celtic Park, he has a solid grasp of Scottish youth football, and this background makes him a strong candidate for first-team management.
O’Dea has been closely linked to the managerial position at Starks Park but has drifted in the betting this week having been favourite for the job.
Peter Leven
Leven is a first-team coach at Aberdeen and did an impressive job in interim charge before Jimmy Thelin’s appointment.
He led Aberdeen to four wins in their last five Scottish Premiership matches, securing a solid finish in the bottom six.
Retained by Thelin, Leven is highly respected at Pittodrie but could be tempted to pursue a managerial role elsewhere.
