Norwich v Hull Match Preview
After steadily finding their feat at the start of the season, following a horrendous 2-0 opening day no-show at Oxford, Norwich have caught fire with 10 points from their last five games.
Johannes Hoff Thorup is starting to implement his ideas quite smoothly, with the principle that one full-back goes forward, the other tucks into a back-three, so the teamsheet 4-2-3-1 becomes a 3-3-3-1 of sorts with right-back Kellen Fisher becoming part of the attack.
Borja Sainz was very much the hero of last weekend’s 3-2 victory at Derby, but his hat-trick wouldn’t have been possible without the selfless contributions of Josh Sargent, his fine link-up play and insatiable work ethic.
Visitors Hull are going down a similar route of positional dominance under new Tim Walter, but are starting further back with the new Head Coach having been appointed later in an uncertain summer.
The Tigers have just won three on the spin, but this fixture is far harder than any they faced in that sequence.
