1:20pm Aintree - Timmy Tuesday (Each-Way)
The opener on Saturday is a bloody big field, and extremely hard to get in this race.
The bottom-rated is 129 - Dan Skelton had the favourite for the race, and they didn't get in, and they fancied that horse.
The race may come just a bit quick for Jeriko Du Reponet after his Cheltenham exerts, and for me, I'll take a chance on TIMMY TUESDAY (Each-Way) for trainer Gordon Elliott.
He's coming over from Ireland with some solid form in the book, having won at Ayr and Down Royal in 2025, and he looks an excellent each-way shout in a wide-open race.
Recommendation: Timmy Tuesday (Each-Way) - 9/1 with BetGoodwin (5 places)
1:55pm Aintree - Horaces Pearl (Each-Way)
There will likely be non-runners in this race, with a few horses needing softer ground, but no matter what, I am against Lulamba.
He had a really hard race at Cheltenham, and although he did nothing wrong, this race will come a little too soon.
HORACE'S PEARL (Each-Way) is the one for me here - he's unbeaten in his career and landed the Bumper here last year when beating Tripoli Fyler.
He'll love the ground and looks like a cracking each-way bet.
Recommendation: Horaces Pearl (Each-Way) - 7/1 with bet365 (3 places)
2:30pm Aintree - Imperial Saint
Myretown was my strong fancy in this one to follow up his success in the Ultima, but with him now missing the race, I'll side with IMPERIAL SAINT from the Philip Hobbs & Johnson White stable.
He's three from three over fences at Aintree, and the stable has picked up five wins and six places from their last 21 runners.
Recommendation: Imperial Saint - 13/2 with Unibet
3:05pm Aintree - Home By The Lee (Each-Way)
The Liverpool looks a wide-open contest as Teahupoo looks to bounce back from his defeat at Cheltenham.
They will likely monitor the ground, and if it's on the quick side, I could see them pulling him from the race.
The two I like are The Wallpark and HOME BY THE LEE (Each-Way), and it's the Joseph O'Brien runner I'll side with.
He unseated JJ Slevin on the sixth flight in the Stayers' Hurdle, so he arrives here fresh, and he was impressive when beating Bob Olinger at Leopardstown at Christmas.
Recommendation: Home By The Lee (Each-Way) - 13/2 with Unibet (3 places)
4:00pm Aintree - Hewick & Beauport (Each-Way)
The feature of the entire Festival - the Grand National - and I can't have Stumptown from a mark of 157.
Yes, he's a decent horse, but I don't think he merits that mark in a race like this.
My pick for the race has been HEWICK - he's got plenty against him, but he will absolutely love the ground, and if he's going well with a circuit to go, we know he'll stay - he has a massive chance.
I also really like BEAUPORT (Each-Way) for Nigel Twiston-Davies.
Ideally, he'd want softer ground, but for some reason, in the National, if you get into a rhythm, you can get away with it more than in a typical chase, especially on the National course.
My other two against the field are Minella Cocooner and Perceval Legallois - let's hope they all come home safe.
Recommendations: Hewick - 12/1 with Coral & Beauport (Each-Way) - 25/1 with bet365 (6 places)
5:00pm Aintree - Kalif Du Berlais (Nap)
The horse I like in this one is KALIF DU BERLAIS (Nap).
He's arriving at Aintree fresh - he'll love the ground, and I fancy him to land this.
I met Paul Nicholls recently, and he was bigging him up - I think he will edge out L'eau Du Sud, who has had a tough old season.
Arriving here fresh is a massive advantage.
Recommendation: Kalif Du Berlais (Nap) - 7/2 with bet365
5:35pm Aintree - El Cairos & Quaviste (Each-Way)
If the lads are looking to get their money back in this, we're struggling, but I like EL CAIROS for Gary & Josh Moore and David Maxwell.
He ran 5th in the Cheltenham Bumper last month but he'll love conditions here and can go very close in a wide-open race.
I'd also take a chance on QUAVISTE (Each-Way) for the Skeltons' - he won a competitive Bumper at Huntingdon in February, and the 2nd has since come out and won.
Recommendations: El Cairos - 6/1 with Unibet & Quaviste (Each-Way) - 12/1 with bet365 (4 places)
