Premier League Darts: Night 12 Predictions, Tips and Odds

Michael van Gerwen returns to his native Netherlands as a man in form following last week’s win in Birmingham.
MVG toppled Aspinall, Smith and Littler to snatch his fourth nightly win of the 2024 campaign, seeing him gallop up the rails towards the two Lukes at the top of the standings.
The Dutchman opens up against the reigning world champion this week in what promises to be a banger on the continent.
Let’s take a look at the best betting in Rotterdam for this Thursday.
Luke Littler to beat Michael Smith - 4/9
Luke Littler has lost just two quarter-finals in 11 weeks and we’re not expecting him to add to that tally in Rotterdam.
Michael Smith has been struggling with his averages over the past couple of weeks despite making back-to-back semi-finals, and going toe-to-toe with the “Nuke” doesn’t appear to be the best tie on paper for the former world champion.
Littler is top of the shop for points, 100+ throws and 180s and could blow Smith away early if he grabs a quick break of throw.
Gerwyn Price win and most 100+ checkouts vs Rob Cross - 5/2
Gerwyn Price is finally starting to cook in 2024.
The Welshman has finished runner-up and thrown a nine-darter in April’s Premier League outings, and comes into this Thursday as the form player on the PDC circuit.
Rob Cross’ trajectory is going in the opposite direction and Price will be targetting the chance to leapfrog “Voltage” in the standings up into sixth.
Despite Price’s lowly position he has a healthy checkout percentage this season and already has a 170 in his back pocket.
Nathan Aspinall 6-3 Peter Wright - 5/1
Back against Nathan Aspinall at your peril.
The “Asp” has been one of the most consistent performers this season and sits pretty in fourth spot despite just one Night win back in Exeter.
He has reached 50% of finals in his last eight weeks and, on paper, should breeze past a struggling Wright in Rotterdam.
Wright still has just the two wins to his name and is a couple of weeks away from being ruled out of reaching May’s playoffs.
Michael van Gerwen vs Luke Humphries over 9.5 legs - 10/11
This quarter-final is expected to steal the show in Rotterdam.
The pair of world champions are 3-3 across their last six meetings and MVG leads slenderly 8-7 over their last seven years of clashes, meaning that Thursday’s tie is close to a coin toss.
MVG will be buoyed by the home support – despite him claiming it adds more pressure and obligations – by we’re not expecting Humphries to wilt.
A 6-5 or 6-4 either way feels guaranteed at 10/11.
