The Hundred Cricket Betting Tips: Birmingham Phoenix v Southern Brave, Oval Invincibles v London Spirit
Our latest Hundred betting tips preview features the Saturday semi-finals, with Birmingham Phoenix men romping into contention following four straight wins. In the women’s event, it’s London derby time!

It is make-or-break time in the Hundred as four teams bid to make the showpiece final of the competition, competing in the men’s and women’s Eliminators at the Oval on Saturday.
There is plenty at stake, with the London derby a huge attraction in the women’s game - essentially a semi-final, while Birmingham Phoenix play inaugural winners Southern Braeve, and we’ve put together a collection of our top Hundred cricket betting tips along with the best offers available from our online betting sites.

The Hundred Preview
Before a ball was bowled, I thought the men’s final would be contested between Oval Invincibles and Southern Brave. If the Brave win this semi-final, that will be the case at Lord’s on Sunday, bringing home a 16/1 shot.
But there’s no denying that the team with the momentum is the Phoenix, who have won four matches on the trot.
There will be some of you who are on that Brave-Invincibles final bet and may want to consider a cash-out option because this is a very dangerous fixture for Brave.
In fact, I’d probably just about make Phoenix favourites to gain revenge for a group stage defeat at Edgbaston earlier this month.
I think William Hill’s 1/1 on them to win and advance to Lord’s to face the defending champions, Invincibles, on Sunday evening represents some value.
The afternoon women’s match sees a blockbuster London derby, with the Spirit eyeing a home final on Sunday afternoon against the Welsh Fire, who finished top of the group stage table. Invincibles are the hosts in this semi-final Eliminator.
Both sides have won two of their last three matches, with Invincibles beating Spirit at the Oval in that time. The other match they played earlier in the competition was a tie.
I’d be going Invincibles here, but instead of taking the 4/5 on the straight win would be keen for something a bit more juicy.
How about bet365′s 11/8 - via their bet builder - on an Invincibles win and for their overseas bowling pair Amanda-Jade Wellington and Marizanne Kapp to take a wicket apiece?
Oval Invincibles v London Spirit, 2.15pm
There’s one bet which catches the eye in this women’s Eliminator, and that’s William Hill’s 14/5 - via their #YourOdds selections - on Oval Invincibles all-rounder Marizanne Kapp to hit over 16 runs with the bat and take over one wicket with her seamers.
The South Africa international is having an excellent Hundred. Batting at four, she has cleared that 16 marker in six of eight innings, while she has taken 10 wickets, including hauls of four wickets and three wickets. In her last appearance - a big win over Trent Rockets earlier this week - she was superb for 3-8 from 20 balls.
Kapp is a big game player, and I’d expect her to shine in this one and carry her side over the line.
Birmingham Phoenix v Southern Brave, 6pm
Phoenix wicketkeeper-batter Jamie Smith - England’s new Test gloveman - hasn’t had a great time of things since taking his place in the Hundred after international duty, posting scores of 13, 0 and 14 in three innings either batting at three or opening.
But I still think the Surrey man - back on his home ground - is an enticing price to come good just in time for the start of the Sri Lanka Test series next week and be Birmingham’s top run-scorer in this match. He’s 5/1 with bet365 to achieve that feat.
Speaking of Surrey men, I have another bet365 bet builder to finish.
They’re offering 11/1 on Brave seamer Chris Jordan and Phoenix counterpart Sean Abbott to take two or more wickets apiece and for Phoenix opener Ben Duckett to hit at least one six.
Duckett, who has hit 11 sixes in six innings, isn’t a Surrey man, but Jordan and Abbott are. They have 14 and 10 wickets respectively in this competition.
As a long shot, that’s worth considering for a couple of quid.
