Everton v Crystal Palace Tips, Predictions & Latest Odds

High-flying Crystal Palace will aim to continue their stunning start to the season when they head to the blue half of Merseyside to face Everton on Sunday afternoon.
This could be an intriguing contest with both sides starting the season well, with Palace the only side in the league still unbeaten after six games of the season.
Free Bets has taken a look at some of the best tips ahead of the game.
Everton v Crystal Palace Tips
Here are our three top football tips ahead of the game.
Tip 1: Crystal Palace to win to nil
Defensively resolute and tough to break down, Palace have been great at absorbing pressure. Against Liverpool last weekend, they could have been out of sight given the chances they created, but it was still a priceless 2-1 victory nonetheless.
This weekend, the Eagles will look to create another piece of club history as they seek to go undefeated for a 13th top-flight game in a row, something they haven’t managed since 1990. Although they have had an average possession figure of 39.9%, the second-lowest in the Premier League this term, Oliver Glasner has stayed true to his principles.
While seven of Everton’s past 10 league fixtures at Goodison Park or Hill Dickinson Stadium have finished level, Palace have only been breached three times this term, so I fancy the visitors to maintain their good form. A win and a clean sheet could be on the cards.
Tip 2: Match to have 12+ shots on target
A lack of cutting edge has proved to be Everton’s problem so far this season. Although they capitalised on West Ham’s vulnerability defending crosses from open play, they still conjured six shots on target from the 12 they attempted.
Palace, meanwhile, swarmed Liverpool in the first half at Selhurst Park, and had it not been for the brilliance of Alisson, the game could have been put to bed much earlier.
Glasner’s men have attempted 58 shots this season, which is an impressive stat, and I expect them to engineer plenty of opportunities against the Toffees. The shots on target special carries value, and for there to be 12+ across the 90 minutes has legs to it.
Tip 3: Eddie Nketiah to score 2+
Despite seeing a significant reduction in game time as he works his way back from a hamstring injury, Eddie Nketiah’s cameo performances have caught the eye for Palace.
He was on target against Liverpool last weekend, netting the winner with aplomb. Nketiah then scored in the mid-week win over Dynamo Kiev in the UEFA Conference League, which took Palace’s unbeaten stretch to 19 matches in all competitions.
While Palace have a few attacking weapons to call on, Nketiah has looked sharp, and if he’s thrown in from the start, he could run Everton ragged. Nketiah could play a big role in helping Palace with a push for a Champions League spot, and netting a double doesn’t seem beyond the realms of possibility.
