We’re getting pretty used to Peter Wright’s unpredictable form this season so his opening day 5-0 loss to Martin Lukeman didn’t come as a huge surprise.

Gates averaged just 88 in losing 5-2 to Rob Cross and is less likely than Wright to turn up the heat in Wolverhampton.
Ritchie Edhouse vs Connor Scutt – Over 8.5 legs
Ritchie Edhouse and Connor Scutt both averaged 104 on the opening day, getting up and running in a winnable Group D and will both be targetting each other to record four points from four in the opening two matches.

Nijman and Rock are two more players that averaged silly numbers on Saturday, racking up 107 and 106 respectively despite losing their opening fixtures.
So it’s must-win for both on Sunday now, and after Saturday’s performance we are giving the Dutchman the edge.
Nijman threw two maximums and checked out a percentage of 36 in winning his four legs against Bunting – on another day he would have swept aside a lesser opponent.
