2024 World Grand Prix Darts – Day 4 Tips
It’s Day 4 in Leicester and the competition ramps up as players eye a spot in the quarter-finals

Legs and sets are ticking by in quick fashion this week and we are already eyeing the last night of action before the quarter-finals are set.
Some surprise entries have already snuck into the last eight, but who will join them? Let’s take a look at Thursday’s tips, plus the top darts betting offers from the best betting sites.

Check out our expert darts tips for the Thursday evening action at the World Grand Prix.
Gary Anderson (vs Mike De Decker) – A 180 in every set
In what could be a pretty one-sided affair in Thursday’s opener, three 180s for Anderson could see us land this 11/4 BOOST with bet365.
The “Flying Scotsman” nailed just three in beating Michael Smith on Tuesday, but if he is in full flow against De Decker then these numbers should improve.
Anderson is a momentum player and in the blink of an eye – in the form he is in – could blow the Belgian away in Leicester.
Gerwyn Price -1.5 sets vs James Wade
The “Iceman” will have to show big improvements from his opening round win over Danny Noppert where he was practically handed victory thanks to his opponents missed doubles.
But his season’s numbers suggest that he’s got plenty more to offer in the tank this week, and Wade could well be on the end of a Price surge.
The Welshman has finished as a winner, twice runner-up and a semi-finalist in his last four runs at the World Grand Prix, so the pedigree is there for a solid display.
Wade rallied well after losing the first set to knock out Peter Wright in round one, but the “Machine” hasn’t got past round two since 2014.
Dave Chisnall match win & most 100+ checkouts (vs Dimitri van den Bergh)
A couple of years ago you wouldn’t have seen Dave Chisnall opening up as a favourite against Dimitri van den Bergh, but such has been the form of the St. Helens player over the summer that has seen him turn into a real contender for this title in Leicester.
A 91 average accompanied by four 180s and a 46% checkout rate saw “Chizzy” fly past Cameron Menzies and a similar display should see him get the job done against DvdB.
Van den Bergh averaged an impressive 97 in round one, but his history of doubling troubles doesn’t set him up well for a deep run at the World Grand Prix. The Belgian has only got past the second round once in five attempts here.
Chisnall to get the win alongside a flex of the most 100+ checkouts.
