2025 started #BuntingMental last weekend, as Stephen Bunting picked up the first PDC title since the World Championships concluded in early January.
The “Bullet” excelled in Bahrain, and now heads to Netherlands with a stacked field looking to pick up more silverware in front of a vibrant s’Hertogenbosch crowd.
Home-favourite Michael van Gerwen will receive a majority of the support this weekend as he attempts to defend his crown from 2024, but there are also another seven Dutch players who will be hoping to get over the line with help from the Oranje Army.
Let’s take a closer look at the 2025 Dutch Darts Masters field, plus the top darts betting offers from the best betting sites.

2025 Dutch Darts Masters – The Favourites
Luke Littler - 7/4 to win the 2025 Dutch Darts Masters
Luke Littler doesn’t like losing, and after exiting early in Bahrain, the now 18-year-old will be looking to bag the big one in s’Hertogenbosch and underline his dominance on the oche from over the past 12 months.
The “Nuke” lands in the top half of the draw and by playing Dimitri van den Bergh in the opener, is the only tie not involving a Dutchman in the last 16.
A win over “Dancing Dimitri” will more than likely set up a quarter-final meeting with Michael van Gerwen – a repeat of the World Championship final from earlier this month – and the winner of that tie will quickly become the FAV in the betting for the whole thing.
Littler will start as a betting favourite for most events in 2025, and 7/4 says he can pick up the Dutch Masters on Saturday night.
Luke Humphries - 10/3 to win the 2025 Dutch Darts Masters
Luke Humphries went life and death with Stephen Bunting in last weekend’s Bahrain Darts Masters semi-final, eventually losing 7-6 in a classic.
In truth it was a toss of a coin who won that tie, and this won’t dent the confidence of one of the most consistent players on the PDC Tour.
The world No.1 opens his campaign against Jermaine Wattimena in the bottom half of the draw and will certainly consider this tie a possible banana skin against the in-form “Machine Gun”.
Humphries is a serial winner on the tour and is actually a good price at 10/3 to lift the title.
Michael van Gerwen - 6/1 to win the 2025 Dutch Darts Masters
After missing out in Bahrain, MVG is back and looking to flex his muscles in front of a home crowd in s’Hertogenbosch.
“Mighty Mike” won here in 2024 thanks to an 8-6 win over Luke Littler in the final, and it’s likely he is going to have to navigate a route past the youngster again this weekend if he is to defend his title.
MVG showed glimmers of his very best at the World Championship so you’d be naive to write the Dutchman off to win any tournament he enters in 2025.
Stephen Bunting - 8/1 to win the 2025 Dutch Darts Masters
After a semi-final run at the World Championship, a call up to the Premier League and a win in Bahrain, Stephen Bunting is hot property on the PDC Tour at the moment.
The “Bullet” is climbing the rankings rapidly and will be eyeing up back-to-back titles this weekend, with the short format suiting his explosive scoring.
Gian van Veen will be a tricky first round opponent for Bunting before a potential Chris Dobey or Raymond van Barneveld quarter-final, but considering the scalps Bunting took last weekend in Bahrain, he won’t fear any section of this weekend’s draw.
2025 Dutch Darts Masters Tips
Check out our top tips for the weekend action in Den Bosch.
Danny Noppert to beat Gerwyn Price
Unlike in Bahrain, the first round ties are littered with possible upsets this weekend.
Gerwyn Price has shown vast improvement in patches in recent outings, but if his doubling doesn’t become more consistent, then the Welshman will continue to find himself on the wrong end of arguments against solid operators.
Danny Noppert is one of those solid operators, and 13/10 in front of a Dutch crowd who will be on the back of Price is too good to turn down.
Luke Humphries to win the 2025 Dutch Darts Masters
Humphries is in the half of the draw that avoids Littler, MVG and Bunting until the final, and if “Cool Hand” can go about his business with limited drama, then we could see him cruise to another title with limited fireworks.
Humphries rarely falls early in tournaments, so 10/3 to win four matches and pick up the title (three of which he will be an overwhelming FAV) looks good.
