Gerywn Price can never be truly relied on in Premier League combat. The Welshman is a surprise inclusion in many onlookers eyes this season and his seven wins from 23 matches last campaign strengthen that skepticism.
Dobey’s first round defeat to Ryan Searle at the weekend’s World Masters shouldn’t carry too much weight coming to Belfast. “Hollywood” showed his quality in running to the semi-final of the World Championship and should be able to register an early win over the “Iceman”.

Steven Bunting would have risen to number four in the world if he navigated a route past Danny Noppert at the World Masters. The "Bullet" lost at the quarter-final stage, but is playing well enough to suggest he will be a threat in this season's Premier League.
Rob Cross is a streaky performer so it's a fool's errand trying to predict his form with any confidence. But Bunting has to be the pick, and if he scores well could blow "Voltage" out of the water quickly.
Luke Littler vs Michael van Gerwen – Over 9.5 legs

It's a repeat of the World Championship final and one of many, many meetings that we will get between these two in 2025.
Littler has been beatable since winning the big one – losing to Gerwyn Price, Stephen Bunting and Jonny Clayton already in January – but will be eager to show his best self against one of the best to ever pick up a dart.
These two love the pace of eachother's games, so a 6-5 or 6-4 either way looks worth backing.
Stephen Bunting – Night 1 Winner
Bunting finds himself in a segment without Humphries, Littler or MVG in Belfast, meaning that he won't have to play any of that dangerous trio until the final.
He is capable of beating all three which he has proved in recent outings, but at 13/2 this early Premier League outing offers a great chance for the "Bullet" to strike while his tungsten is hot.
