Arsenal v Bolton Betting Tips, Odds & Match Preview

Arsenal will turn their attention to Cup duties when they host Bolton in the third round of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday evening.
After playing nearly an hour with 10 men against Manchester City last weekend, the Gunners came agonisingly close to pulling off a rare Premier League win at the Etihad but were denied by a last-gasp strike from John Stones.
Bolton, on the other hand, have struggled this term, as they are currently 18th in League One. However, they arrested a three-game losing run with an emphatic 5-2 win over Reading.
While Mikel Arteta will give the Carabao Cup due respect, he could well ring the changes.
Fourth-choice goalkeeper Jack Porter could make his debut for the senior team after David Raya, who made nine saves against City, was spotted limping after the game.
Bolton will be looking to claim a major scalp, but how will things unfold at the Emirates? I have dived into the markets and plucked out a couple of Arsenal Bolton betting tips for you to pore over ahead of kick-off.
Arsenal to coast into Round 4 - Arsenal Bolton Betting Tips
Over the past week or so, Arsenal have faced some stiff assignments but passed them all with flying colours.
The way they coped with playing with 10 men for the bulk of the 2-2 draw against City following Lenadro Trossard’s moment of petulance, was nothing short of incredible. It was the 17th Premier League red card of the Arteta regime, four more than any other club.
Arteta’s charges fed off scraps, and in the second half, they mustered just 12.5% of possession.

But there is a mettle and fortitude about the Gunners that perhaps wasn’t always there last term.
Whatever team Arteta puts out, they should be too strong for Bolton, and I expect them to coast into the fourth round.
Although it might not be as resounding a win as Manchester United’s 7-0 rout of Barnsley last week at Old Trafford, it should be a comfortable evening for all those associated with the North London outfit.
To open my Arsenal Bolton betting tips, I’m drawn to the Winning Margin line, and Arsenal to prevail by three goals. Paddy Power is advertising odds of 16/5 which isn’t too shabby.
Gabriel to pave the path for Arsenal win
Although there has been some criticism over the Gunners’ inability to buy a proven goalscorer, they can contribute goals all over the park.
That extends to the back four, and Gabriel has been weighing in with some important goals of late.
Towering headers from corners are in his wheelhouse, and of his 16 Premier League goals to date (88%) have been from a set-piece.
Anyway, Gabriel is a presence in the opposing penalty box, and I think he could well get on the scoresheet.
Rather than settle on a specific player special in terms of the method of scoring, I’m going a bit bigger with my second tip and for the Brazilian centre-back to bag the first goal of the game. If you are tempted, a price of 18/1 can be located at bet365.
