Arsenal Fans Tore Into this Star Player After West Ham Draw

Arsenal were looking to get back to winning ways when they travelled to the Olympic Stadium to face West Ham United in the Premier League on Wednesday night.

But Arsene Wenger’s Gunners could only manage to come away from the clash with a single point against a struggling Hammers outfit, after a 0-0 stalemate in London.

This was the latest disappointing setback for the club’s fans following a recent draw with Southampton too, and that 3-1 defeat at the hands of rivals Manchester United.

But fans vented their frustration mainly at one Gunners star after the underwhelming goalless draw with West Ham.

It was Chile international forward Alexis Sanchez that faced the brunt of the Arsenal supporters’ backlash this week.

The misfiring attacker was dispossessed 32 time during a woeful display against the Saints last weekend, and it didn’t get any better for him during 83 minutes against the Irons.

Wenger’s men were unable to breach the defence of David Moyes’ West Ham and fans seemed to take their frustrations out on Sanchez, who has stuttered of late.

Arsenal fans had previously been desperate to retain Sanchez in the transfer window but they may have had a change of heart in recent weeks after his awful showings for the club.
