Arsenal Title Odds Now 9/4 after Hitting Five Past Chelsea

Arsenal sit at the top of the Premier League after a thumping 5-0 success over Chelsea on Tuesday night.
But their league position, and nature of the win, still isn’t enough for them to be title favourites.
The Arsenal title odds have shortened a little, they are now 9/4 to win the Premier League with bet365, but that still puts them as second favourites behind Manchester City.
Latest Arsenal Premier League Winner Odds
9/4 is the price you can take on Arsenal to win the Premier League right now. They are at the top of the table, clear by three points over Liverpool and four over Manchester City.
However, Liverpool have one game in hand, and City have two, so in a position to close the gap. If those games in hand are won, City would go top by two points, and that’s the reason they are favourites.
But with four games to go, Arsenal are serious contenders under Mikel Arteta, and if they needed any further confidence boost, their 5-0 win over Chelsea would have certainly given them one.
- Manchester City - 4/5
- Arsenal - 9/4
- Liverpool - 11/2
Can Arsenal Win the Premier League?
Arsenal have four games to go, two that should be relatively easy, winnable games and then two tough away trips.
They begin this weekend, a trip to rivals Tottenham, and they’ve still got to go to Manchester United too.
Compare that to Manchester City, who have four games they’ll see as winnable, and also two tough away trips, beginning this week.
They travel to Brighton on Thursday, which may be Arsenal’s best hope for City dropping points. City also travel to Tottenham in May, another potentially tough game.
Liverpool have five games left, and a slightly tougher run I think. Everton will not make it easy for them tonight, while they have to travel to Aston Villa and host Tottenham in May.
I think Arsenal definitely have a chance, but I would also agree with their position in the betting as second favourites, the odds on offer do seem to be about right.
