Bills @ Dolphins Tips: Bet Builder Picks NFL Thursday Night Football

Week 2 of the NFL season kicks off with what should be a great Thursday Night Football clash, as the Buffalo Bills travel to Miami to take on the Dolphins.
Below we’ve got our Bills @ Dolphins tips, with a bet builder coming from one of the leading NFL betting sites, Betfair, and they’ve got double figure odds available on our pick.
Bills @ Dolphins Tips - 10/1 Bet Builder for Thursday Night Football
I’ve put together my Bills @ Dolphins tips and chose to place a bet builder with them, given the odds on offer for singles are quite low.
However, when you combine the picks together into a bet builder, the bet has odds of 10/1 which looks good value, with three picks in it.
De’Von Achane Anytime TD
Kicking off the bet, I’ll mention that the weather forecast looks hot and wet for Thursday night, which I think will mean we see more of the run game than usual, and that leads me to my first pick.
A crowded backfield in Miami, but De’Von Achane is the man I think can really shine here, he was good in week 1 and scored a touchdown there too.
10 carried for 24 yards isn’t a true reflection of him on Sunday, it was a game where the Dolphins threw the ball a lot, they won’t do that as much here.
I like Achane to get plenty of the ball and get a score.
James Cook Anytime TD
We go to the other side of the football for the second pick, another running back, with James Cook also fancied to have a good night.
The Bills man had an impressive week 1 outing, 71 yards on the floor from 19 carries plus 32 yards in the air from three catches.
It’s going to take time for Josh Allen to work out this new receiver group, and while he does, I think the Bills will lean heavily on Cook.
Put that together with the projected conditions, he could see a lot of the ball, and again, he’s another player I think can get a touchdown.
Under 52.5 Points
After picking two touchdown scorers, it may look a little odd I’m going for a points pick under the line, but this is a very big line, and one that I don’t like given the predicted weather.
Two quarterbacks who can throw the ball well, but two that may not get much chance to do that here.
I’m expecting a lot of running downs, the clock slipping away, and few explosive moments as both teams look to be sensible, and give nothing away cheaply.
This line would need six touchdowns, plus some field goals, to get over it, or possibly even seven touchdowns plus field goals, and it seems a big ask, so I’m happy to go under it, with 52 points or less in the game.
