Four Cheltenham Festival Market Movers from November Meeting

The Cheltenham November meeting passed with some wonderful performances on track, but some of the winners we saw this weekend have their eyes set on far bigger prizes later in the year.
Anytime we have a meeting at Cheltenham, talk after an impressive winner often turns to the Cheltenham Festival, this week was no different.
From the three-day November meeting, four horses in particular stood out, and they’ve all seen their Cheltenham Festival horses shorten.
While it's early just yet, these are the horses that could be subject to Cheltenham free bets and offers when we reach March.
Friday - Potters Charm
Still unbeaten under rules, Potters Charm made a big impression on Friday, winning a Grade Two Novice Hurdle by 11 lengths, ahead of Valgrand, who was highly touted before the clash.
Expected to be even better on softer ground, Potters Charm has been cut for the Cheltenham Festival on the back of his success. He went from 40/1 down to 16/1 for the Gallagher Novice Hurdle over 2m5f, the same distance which he won over on Friday.
He’s also a possibility for the Albert Bartlett Novice Hurdle, where he’s 20/1, that race is over a slightly further distance of three miles.
Saturday - East India Dock
Opening the card on Saturday we had a Grade Two Triumph Hurdle trial, where East India Dock was a very impressive winner, taking his record over hurdles to two out of two.
Trained by James Owen, who is having an incredible time with his young hurdlers, this horse is seemingly one of his best for the Triumph this season.
As high as 33/1 for the Triumph Hurdle before the race on Saturday, he’s now as low as 7/1 second favourite to win that race in March.
Saturday - L’Eau du Sud
Winner of the Grade Two Arkle trial on Saturday was L’Eau du Sud for Dan Skelton, firing him towards the head of the market for the big two mile novice at the Festival.
An 11 length winner, he’s now two from two over fences, and already proving to be much better over the bigger obstacles.
He was as high as 40/1 to win the Arkle before Saturday’s contest, but now he’s as low as 8/1 in places after proving his worth at the course.
Sunday - Burdett Road
Burdett Road hadn’t been seen over hurdles since January 2024 due to injury, until returning in the Greatwood Hurdle on Sunday.
On just his fourth start, he would win the Greatwood by half a length after making all, which should set him up to race in some of the big two mile hurdles contests over the season.
All roads could point towards the Champion Hurdle, he was 66/1 before the Greatwood, and is now as low as 25/1 in places to win that race.
