England are 7/1 to win the 2026 World Cup with William Hill, which means they are joint second favourites, alongside Spain, the team who beat them in the Euro 2024 final last night, a price replicated by many football betting sites.
Ahead of them in the betting are France, who lost to Spain in the Euro 2024 semi finals, and Brazil, who have just disappointed in the Copa America.
The current generation of England players have been working on many tournaments now, and they are not done yet, with plenty more exciting young players coming through the ranks.
The World Cup of 2026 will again be a time when fans expect a big push.
Same Core of Players Ready to Go Again
The good news for England, and whoever is in charge in 2026, is that once again, many of the same core group of players will be available and ready to go again.
