General Election Betting Odds - Odds crash on July to September election
A summer General Election looks on the cards

Wednesday has seen bookmakers take plenty of money on the General Election odds, with an election now touted to be held between July and September.
General Election Date Betting Odds
- July - September 2024 - 3/10
- October - December 2024 - 9/4
Having been as big as 9/2 on Tuesday evening, the odds on an election taking place between July and September have been slashed to 3/10 with Betfair.
Many pundits felt an Autumn election was the most likely, but the odds on the next General Election taking place between October and December have drifted to 9/4 today, having been as low as 1/3 earlier in the week.
The move has likely come after inflation fell from 3.2% to 2.3%, with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak seemingly keen to use the good news to launch the General Election campaign.
However, the General Election odds make gloomy reading for the Conservatives, with Labour as short as 1/33 with William Hill to win the most seats and 1/14 with Paddy Power to hold an overall majority.
