Germany v Netherlands Betting Tips, Odds, Predictions & Match Preview

The Nations League runs into another week, but it will pit two of Europe’s heavyweights together in Germany and the Netherlands.
I have delved into the markets and revealed a couple of Germany v Netherlands betting tips, plus the best football betting offers from our top football betting sites.
Germany v Netherlands Betting Tips
Germany v Netherlands Match Preview
Bayern Munich’s home ground Allianz Arena will be the battleground for this Group A3 clash which is arguably the tie of the evening although those of a Belgium or France persuasion might disagree.
Germany, who saw off a spirited Bosnia and Herzegovina to clinch a 2-1 win, hold all the cards in the group now.
The Netherlands, who trail the Germans by two points, had to work hard to claim a 1-1 draw against Hungary on Friday.
However, Virgil van Dijk, who picked up the first red of his international career, is suspended and has since left the Oranje camp.
Matches between these two rivals are often fractious affairs, but how will things pan out? I
As mentioned, matches between Germany and the Netherlands often make for fascinating viewing, albeit this will be contested on a far less grand stage.
Germany have the wind in their sails, and while they were forced to work hard to cling onto all three points against Bosnia and Herzegovina, Deniz Undav showed a cool head in front of goal, scoring twice.
The Netherlands will no doubt miss Van Dijk, who before his dismissal against Hungary, completed 145 of his 152 passes.
While Germany boast the better head-to-head record against the Oranje (17 wins compared to 12 from the 47 meetings), this feels quite tight to call.
So, for my first pick, I’m going to sit on the fence and back the draw. A 3/1 price is available at William Hill should you wish to pursue it.
Entertaining goal fest to ensue
Both Germany and the Netherlands have plenty of firepower, and there is never a shortage of goals.
For Germany, they have netted 10 times in their past four matches in all competitions, with Florian Wirtz and Jamal Musiala also both proving to be the creative sparks.
Over the past four games, the Netherlands have scored the same number of goals (10) as Germany, but with just one win recorded over that period and two draws, they could do with a positive result.
During the previous three meetings between Germany and the Netherlands, two have finished as a draw.
The last game resulted in a 2-2 draw and I think there could be a repeat result, partly because I like to look for patterns.
To round off my Germany v Netherlands betting tips, I’m plumping on a 2-2 Correct Score prediction which is trading at a tempting 10/1 with Paddy Power.
