Michy Batshuayi Produces Brilliant Post-Match Tweets

The Chelsea striker is known for his banter on social media

Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi has always been a ‘must follow’ player on social media, but he may have taken that status to a new level after the Blues’ 4-0 win over Brighton.

An Eden Hazard brace, as well as strikes from Willian and Victor Moses, got Chelsea back to winning ways in emphatic style after a run of four straight draws. The Blues went back up to third as a result.

It was a rare start for Batshuayi, who was afforded the opportunity after Alvaro Morata was sent off in Wednesday’s FA Cup third round replay with Norwich.

But this game will perhaps be remembered for his tweets in the aftermath, rather than his performances.

The Belgian international has been linked with a departure from Stamford Bridge on loan this month, with Sevilla heavily linked with him. First team football will be crucial for him with the World Cup just around the corner.
