Oleksandr Usyk proves he is a generational great in KO win over Daniel Dubois
Usyk has achieved everything he can in boxing and should be remembered as one of the very best to do it

Oleksandr Usyk was favourite with the betting sites, and destroyed Daniel Dubois inside five rounds on Saturday night inside Wembley Stadium, underlining his status in world boxing with a bold pen.
Usyk is now anย Olympic gold medalist, undisputed cruiserweight world champion, and now two times the undisputed world heavyweight champion, a feat unrivalled in the sport's deep and historic annals.
Free Bets boxing expert Lewis Watson takes a look back at Saturday's bout.
ย With his 24th win as a professional, the Ukrainian southpaw retainedย his unbeaten record, and stretched his streak over British fighters to eight-in-a-row, following wins over Tony Bellew, Derek Chisora, Anthony Joshua (twice), Tyson Fury (twice) and now, Daniel Dubois (twice).
All has been achievedย with charm, style and relative ease โ Usyk'sย ability to channel his athletic prowess despiteย Russia's full-scale invasion of his nation, Ukraine, has been remarkable to witness over the past few years.
He has unwittingly become the nation's poster boy for resilience and being underestimated.
At 38, the noise of retirement will only get louder.
Asked what he wants to do next, Usyk replied, in typical Usyk fashion, โNothing. Itโs enough. I donโt know whatโs next. I want to rest. I donโt know, Iโll go back home with my family, my wife and my children. I want to rest now.โ
Pressed about who he might want to face next, he said, โMaybe itโs Tyson Fury. Maybe we have three [other] options: Derek Chisora and Anthony Joshua, maybe Joseph Parker. I cannot say now, because I want to go back home.โ
Whatever Usyk does decide, his legacy is safe. He has earned more money than he could ever spend in five lifetimes, and has beaten every top-level fighter of his generation โ but if he wants to cash-in further in a fight with the multi-millionaire Jake Paul, then that's his prerogative.
The pair faced off inside the ring for the cameras on Saturday night to the groan of those still in attendance, but Usyk has earned our trust as onlookers, and nothing he decides at this stage of his career should be lambasted.
For Dubois, at 27, the future can still be bright.
It's the third defeat on his slate, but the former world champion can, of course, come again in what is an ageing division.
โI have to commend him, I gave everything I had,โ Dubois said. โThere were a few things I could have sharpened up, but take no credit from the man, and Iโll be back. I gave my best, weโll go back to the drawing board and come again.โ
โWe tried to get going. (Dubois is) a young champion, 27 years old, remarkable what heโs achieved to date,โ said Duboisโ trainer, Don Charles. โHeโll be back from this stronger. (Usyk) is a great champion, a generational great. If youโre going to lose, lose to someone like that.โ
