The Betrayal Barometer: Breaking Down heading into the final week of The Traitors
Recap of Episode 7-9
Episode 7: Overnight the Traitors committed their first face to face murder, after choosing 4 players in plain sight to play the game of death. For today's mission the surviving 3 players are hidden and following a series of riddles the team must find them. Creating the ultimate tension episode for the viewer, in the end it was Fozia who was murdered face to face.
At the round table Leon, Alex, Anna, Leanne and Alexander all had a lot to say. With not a lot of heat during discussions, Linda is the second traitor of the season to be banished. Jake proves himself as a faithful since day 1.
Minah as the last traitor remaining must give one of the faithful an ultimatum.
Episode 8: Under darkness Minah recruited Charlotte. Finally Anna was taken out by the duo. The challenge saw the players split in 2 having to root through porcelain dolls and recite the songs backwards to identify the nursery rhyme adding £7,500 to the prize pot. Within the challenge Jake won the shield, but will the traitors be brave enough to take a punt at one of that group? At the round table, the pile on was too much for Alex to fend off being the 12th faithful sent packing this season vs 2 traitors.
It is also worth noting that there have been no male traitors this season. Elen was right in saying there are some strong women traitors this season.
Episode 9: With Charlotte on board, the traitors took out Priest Lisa. At the round table, Leon, Alexander, Minah, Leanne and Frankie were all under the microscope. Leon was the next faithful to fall.

Top 3 Players Likely to Make it to the Fire Pit
Charlotte (T): Charlotte’s scores have skyrocketed from 28 in Week 1 to 42 in Week 3 (+14), showcasing significant growth in trust, strategy, and influence. Her recruitment as a traitor and ability to dominate discussions have made her a standout player heading into the final episodes.
Jake: Jake’s consistent performance, with scores ranging from 35 in Week 1 to a peak of 40 in Week 2, reflects his strong trust and influence as a faithful. His shield win in Episode 8 and steady gameplay keep him firmly in the running for a spot at the fire pit.
Minah (T): Despite a slight dip in Week 2, Minah has recovered, maintaining a high score of 38 in Week 3 (+1 from Week 1). As the original traitor still standing, her strategic recruitment of Charlotte and ability to deflect suspicion make her a formidable contender.
Honorable Mention
Freddie: Freddie’s steady climb from 30 in Week 1 to 35 in Week 3 (+5) reflects his resilience and influence. While his occasional attraction of suspicion could hinder him, his ability to survive tense round tables keeps him in the conversation as a potential finalist.
The Fallen
Who does Paul Gorton think is 'so bad they’re undetectable' as a traitor? Discover his sharp insights, game-changing strategies, and behind-the-scenes details in this week’s Betrayal Barometer.
Interview with Paul Gorton
"The Traitors Have the Advantage"
“100% the traitors have the advantage over the faithful. It’s theirs to lose,” Paul said. Successful traitors put themselves in larger social groups. If you are in a larger group you are less likely to be talked about. You also have a secret forum to meet and chat gameplay without anyone else knowing. Time faithful don’t get together.
Predictions
“If I had to pick one winner, it would be Linda,” he said. She had her blip at the start that she seems to have gotten over. ‘I think she is probably the worst traitor to play the game’ but is she so bad she’s undetectable, he quipped. But that one didn't last very long.
However, he sees Minah as vulnerable due to her direct but often incorrect gameplay. There is only so long Minah can continue banishing the faithful without drawing suspicion.
Strategy Insights
Paul emphasized narrative control for traitors. “If you’re blindsided by another traitor, you can’t just vote for them out of nowhere because it exposes traitor on traitor behavior,” he explained.
‘I also am seeing players make the same bad decisions that were made in season 2’. Going after the quiet people or people who you haven’t looked at previously just is not working for the current cast.
