Viktoria Plzen vs Hearts Match Preview
Plzen recently have a strong pedigree in Europe, winning all six group matches in the Europa Conference League last season and reaching the quarter final before losing to eventual runners-up Fiorentina.
And the Czech side have started this season strongly, winning six of their last seven matches, conceding just two goals in the process.
They face a Hearts side that have lost five of their last six European away games and who have begun this campaign in poor form, losing to Dundee in the Scottish Premiership and being booted out of the League Cup by Falkirk last weekend.
Steven Naismith’s side have scored just once in their three competitive games this season and lacked a real attacking threat against Falkirk - take Plzen to win to nil this evening in the Doosan Arena.
Vasulin the value
Plzen comfortably saw off Kryvbas in their Europa League qualifier, winning both legs, with striker Daniel Vasulin scoring in each match.
The 26-year-old also scored during a recent 5-0 league victory over Karvina, bringing his total to three goals in seven appearances this season.
With concerns about Hearts’ defensive stability and confidence, backing Vasulin to open the scoring looks like a solid bet.
