Tip 1: New England Patriots -2.5 @ Tennessee Titans (Alternate handicap market)

The Patriots have hit a winning streak and have a 4-2 record putting them top of the AFC East. Wins against the Dolphins, Panthers, Bills and Saints have shown that new head coach Mike Vrabel has made improvements quickly.

Vrabel has not only got his defence playing good football but also is seeing his young quarterback, Drake Maye, make major strides. Maye has passed for 1,522 yards, ten touchdowns and only two interceptions. He also has a pass completion percentage of 73.2

On top of that Vrabel will be motivated to win this game as its against his old team, the Tennessee Titans. The Titans have had an awful season over the first six weeks of the season. They have a 1-5 record and have just fired their head coach, Brian Callahan.

It’s tough to see how things get any better for the Titans now. Rookie quarterback, Cam Ward, has struggled with only 55% pass completion and has only passed for three touchdowns. The roster overall just doesn’t seem to be up to scratch and getting rid of Callahan won’t change much. Take the Patriots at -2.5 here.

Tip 2: Chicago Bears -2.5 vs New Orleans Saints (Alternate handicap market)

The Bears might be sitting at the bottom of the NFC North, but they are looking good compared to previous seasons. Losing to the Vikings and Lions in the first two weeks was a bad start but they have turned things around.

Wins against the Cowboys, Raiders and Commanders have shown that the Bears could be dangerous this season. Wide receiver Rome Odunze is having a breakout season in his second year with five touchdowns and 328 yards.

In this game the Bears are going up against a Saints team that although have shown willing are lacking in overall talent. They currently have a 1-5 record and quarterback Spencer Rattler has only thrown six touchdowns in six games.

Although the Saints give it a go in every game, they rarely seem to put enough together to win a game. It feels that the Bears are a better team all over and a win away to the Commanders last Monday night will boost their confidence. -2.5 is not a large amount and the Bears should cover that relatively easily.

Tip 3: New York Giants +7.0 @ Denver Broncos (Handicap market)

The Giants had a rough start to the season going 0-3. However, things have changed since then largely due to the introduction of rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart. The offence has looked much more capable, and the defence has improved because they are not on the field as much.

Since Dart has been starting the Giants have won two games against tough opposition in the Chargers and Eagles. They also beat the Eagles last week without star wide receiver Malik Nabers who is out for the season.

Going away to the Broncos will be another tough matchup for the Giants but one they can be competitive in. The Broncos are 4-2 but they don’t normally destroy teams. Last week they played in London against the Jets in a dour 13-11 win.

Bo Nix has been unpredictable at best, and the team relies heavily on their defence. With a mixture of the Broncos having to travel to and from London and the Giants improving it feels like they have a chance to keep the game tight. Take the +7 available and get a bigger price included in the bet.

Tip 4: Green Bay Packers -2.5 @ Arizona Cardinals (Alternate handicap market)

The Packers have had a solid start to the season, but it could have been much better. Wins against the Lions and Commanders got a lot of people excited. However, losing to the Browns was a bump back down to earth and then they tied with the Cowboys.

They got back on track with a win against the Bengals last Sunday and will be hoping to push on against the Cardinals. 27 points seems to be a popular figure with the Packers having got that amount in all three of their wins this season.

Here they take on a Cardinals side that just seems to be falling apart. They started the season 2-0 but have now fallen to 2-4 thanks to losses against the 49ers, Seahawks, Titans and Colts.

Losing to a team like the Titans, who are 1-5 and have just fired their head coach is a big concern. It looks like Kyler Murray will be missing this game again and so Jacoby Brissett will be in at quarterback. He had a solid game against the Colts but with on 60% pass completion rate, he will only offer so much.

The Packers should win this game so take the -2.5 as its under a field goal.

Tip 5: Dallas Cowboys +3.5 vs Washington Commanders (Alternate handicap market)

Putting the Cowboys in a bet is always a bit crazy but if you can get plus points at a decent price then its worth it. Their defence is atrocious and will give up plenty of points in this game, but the offence is on fire.

The Cowboys have scored 27 points or more in four of their six games this season and that will likely happen again in this game. Sitting at 2-3-1 if they want to kick on and do anything this season, they need to win a game like this at home. Also, star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb is meant to be back for this game.

The Commanders are not the same team that they were last season. At 3-3 they don’t feel as explosive and the defence is not as good. They are still going to be a tough team to beat against any opponent but not at the level they were previously.

Jayden Daniels missed two games with a knee injury, and it still looked like it was affecting him last Monday night against the Bears. Take the +3.5 on the Cowboys side and expect their offence to dominate again keeping this game close.
