2024 Premier League Darts – Night 16 Tips
The 2024 Premier League Darts heads to Sheffield for a stacked Night 16 as we find out who is reaching the playoffs.

It all boils down to this…
Nathan Aspinall and Michael Smith will need to show steel in Sheffield this Thursday if they are to join the already-qualified Luke Littler, Luke Humphries and Michael van Gerwen at the London playoffs.
The pair have a straight shootout to see who joins the trio next week and this meaty clash headlines a quartet of opening quarter-finals inside the Utilita Arena.
Let’s look at the best betting in Sheffield for this Thursday.
Luke Littler to beat Peter Wright 6-1
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it...
These two met last Thursday in Leeds and thanks to a 97 average from the 17-year-old, Luke Littler pummeled a helpless Wright 6-1.
Wright will be counting down the minutes to the end of this torrid Premier League season and another 6-1 shellacking weighs in well enough at 4/1.
Nathan Aspinall to beat Michael Smith
This is the big one – the only quarter-final with genuine playoff ramifications.
Both men arrive in Sheffield as 10/11 picks to win the match, but we can only see that providing real value on Nathan Aspinall to get the victory.
Aspinall has provided the more consistent darts throughout this campaign and, with three wins in their last four meetings, must hold a psychological edge over “Bully Boy”.
Smith can, of course, beat anyone in world darts on his day, but we’re siding with the grit and plucky determination of the “Asp”.
Luke Humphries to win the match and most 180s vs Gerwyn Price
Luke Humphries has a slim chance of top spot if he can win 3/3 in Sheffield, and his recent form suggests this isn’t a crazy possibility.
“Cool Hand” has lost just five quarter-finals all season and comes here on the back of his fourth night win of the season in Leeds.
Gerwyn Price has thrown in the towel, and it would take a miracle for him not to finish seventh this season.
Michael van Gerwen vs Rob Cross – Over 9.5 legs
MVG and Cross probably have the least to play for in Sheffield this weekend, so expect a toss-up.
They have won five each across their last 10 meetings, and when they met a fortnight ago, it went down to the final leg in a 6-5 triumph for “Voltage”.
At least 10 legs to be thrown in a 6-4 or 6-5 either way is the pick.
