The season so far hasn't really gone to plan for both Blackpool or Barnsley, but there's a big difference between the two right now, and that forms the basis of my Blackpool v Barnsley tips.
Blackpool started poorly, made a change, and things have looked much better since the arrival of Steve Bruce.
Barnsley started better, but have got worse, and are coming here without a win from their last four games.
The Tangerines have hope and optimism surrounding them, there's a feeling that they are now moving in the right direction, and can further move up the table.
For Barnsley, my guess is they're a couple of losses away from things becoming a little toxic down at Oakwell.
Defensively, Barnsley are struggling, and they're conceding a lot of chances to the opposition. Couple that with their attacking players still not fully clicking together, Stephen Humphrys a lone exception in that.
This is a tough away trip for them, so I will begin my tips on the game with a win for Blackpool at 1/1 with Betfred.
Next up, something at far bigger odds and I head to the correct score market to get those bigger odds.
Barnsley have given up a lot of chances recently, and I think Blackpool will take plenty of theirs on Saturday.
I will combine that with my belief that Barnsley will score here, and a 3-1 win to Blackpool at 14/1 with William Hill looks to be the best value on the correct score market.
