Are Brighton in the title race? That may be a statement that grabs your attention but if Arsenal are considered contenders and Chelsea operating as outsiders, then the Seagulls may also need to be a part of the conversation.
The reason being that each of these three teams sit directly below Liverpool and Manchester City in the Premier League table and each of them have 22 points on the board after their first 12 matches of the season.
