Chelsea v Aston Villa Predictions, Betting Tips, Odds & Offers
Chelsea host a faltering Aston Villa side at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon

All of a sudden there is a bit of doom and gloom around Unai Emery’s Aston Villa.
Since a 2-0 win over Bologna at the end of October, his side have failed to win in seven games, losing four and tumbling down the Premier League and Champions League standings.
A trip to south-west London to face Enzo Maresca’s in-form Blues probably wasn’t top of Emery’s wish-list approaching the festive season, but it offers the chance for the Villains to put a big dent in Chelsea’s slim chances of a title push this season.

Chelsea v Aston Villa Match Preview
Things are looking better than expected for Chelsea this season, with their Italian gaffer Enzo Maresca proving an expert in juggling his hefty, expensive squad.
Their “B-team” extended their 100% record in the Conference League on Thursday and now it’s time for the regulars to build on their four-match unbeaten streak in the Premier League that has seen them push into fourth spot.
Only Liverpool and Tottenham have scored more than the Blues this season, but their best form has actually come away from Stamford Bridge.
Just nine of their 22 league points have been won down the Fulham Road, with Aston Villa recording more points (10) than that on the road.
But with things as tight as they are in the top half of the table, a win for Emery’s men would see them go level on points with Chelsea despite their faltering form.
Villa’s run to continue
Despite the question marks over Chelsea’s home form, this doesn’t feel like a banana skin that Maresca will slip on.
He’s got a fresh squad of players that didn’t make the trip to Heidenheim on Thursday whereas Emery will need to manage minutes after a hard-fought point against Juventus in the Champions League.
But it probably won’t be plain sailing. Chelsea’s weakest area of the pitch is still in between the sticks and in defence – Aston Villa have only been outscored on the road by Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham and Wolves this season and will fancy beating Robert Sanchez at least once.
Wesley Fofana is a man to keep your eye on. He’s been booked in 6 out of 11 Premier League games for Chelsea this season and is 9/5 anytime with Betfred to make it seven.
But the tip that can’t be avoided is for Chelsea to win and BTTS at 15/8 with Betfred.
Chelsea's marksman flying high
Nicolas Jackson's goal against Leicester last weekend underlined his form this campaign and the striker will be looking to add to his growing tally of Premier League goals (7) on home soil.
Cole Palmer is of course on penalties and has also bagged 7 this campaign, so both of these to net looks sensible.
Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson to score anytime is at 9/2 with Betfred.
