Crystal Palace v Liverpool Match Preview
Wind the clocks back a couple of months and there was all sorts of optimism surrounding Crystal Palace after their brilliant run of form at the end of last season.
Oliver Glasner was deemed to be hot property and the likes of Eberechi Eze and Marc Guehi too, but six games into the season and they are without a victory and in the bottom three.
Of course there shouldn't be a huge amount to be worried about, but the longer that goes on, the more the Palace boardroom - who have been shown to have twitchy feet in the past - will tighten the metaphorical noose.
Even with the pressure mounting on Erik ten Hag in Manchester, keep an eye on Glasner's odds to be the next manager to be sacked. He is as long as 33/1 right now, but with Liverpool, Nottingham Forest, Tottenham and Aston Villa up next, that could change quickly.
Liverpool have not lost at Selhurst Park in the league for 10 years and realistically it is hard to see anything but another three points for the Reds but I expect Palace to make it tough for them.
Palace's famed home form hasn't fired so far this season with two draws and a defeat at Selhurst Park and I'm backing that trend to continue with a Liverpool win but with both teams scoring, available at 19/10 with Betway.
It is fair to say the triumvirate of Eddie Nketiah, Eze and Jean-Philippe Mateta hasn't fired yet, but there is real ability in that forward line and once they click they will cause problems for anyone in the league.
One of the early trends from Arne Slot's Liverpool is how they disrupt opponents in midfield, with Ryan Gravenberch, Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister predictably the biggest offenders in terms of fouls.
With this in mind, I'm looking at a bet builder for our second tip of the game, so for the three of them to make at least a foul each and Mohamed Salah to continue his brilliant form as first goalscorer, we can get 10/1 with bet365.
