It is time for the start of the knockout stages of Euro 2024, and we have a couple of great games to kick us off with tournament hosts and one of the favourites Germany in action against Denmark.
That is the late kick-off on Saturday, with Switzerland v Italy the earlier game.

Daily Euro 2024 Acca
We take in the best of the Euro 2024 action on Saturday with our 11/1 Acca.
Draw & BTTS in Switzerland vs Italy
Switzerland was just a couple of minutes away from beating Germany in the third round and topping Group A. The Red Crosses looked impressive in the opening match against Hungary (won 3-1) and against Scotland (1-1). Additionally, this squad is full of experienced players, so we don’t view Italy as a big favorite here. The Azzurri have yet to keep a clean sheet, so I expect a close match to end with both teams scoring (BTTS). The last two head-to-head clashes between these rivals ended without a winner. More adventurous punters might also consider a 1-1 correct score.
Germany to Win to Nil vs Denmark
Denmark advanced to the Round of 16 with three draws against England, Slovenia, and most recently Serbia, scoring two goals and conceding two in the tournament. Germany, on the other hand, won Group A ahead of Switzerland with seven points and remains one of the top candidates to go all the way. Die Mannschaft has won nine of their 13 home duels against the Danes so far. They looked much better in the group stage than their opposition, so there is value in backing Nagelsmann’s side to win to nil, given Denmark’s offensive struggles.

Both Teams to Score - Yes
While Germany are clear favourites to win this game - and I think they will win well - Denmark are a dangerous side and can cause anyone problems on their day.
Yes they’re not quite as good as previous Denmark iterations, but with the likes of Christian Eriksen and Rasmus Hojlund they have goals in them. Germany have looked like one of the best sides going forward so far but have had few questions asked at the back, but there are still questions to be asked of Manuel Neuer and the defence in my opinion.
Jamal Musiala to Score
The Bayern Munich playmaker is quickly becoming the player of the tournament, and delivering on the promise that he has hinted at for quite a long time.
He has two goals in three matches so far - he scored in the first two games when they were effectively alive before more of a dead rubber against Switzerland - and will cause Denmark problems. I also fancy Niclas Fullkrug to get on the scoresheet but I’m going to plump for Musiala on this occasion, a player primed to grab the knockout stages by the scruff of the neck.
Germany to Win in 90 Minutes
Germany head into the game as favourites and rightly so, given their form so far in the tournament.
Whether it is enough to go all the way remains to be seen, but I think they will ride the crest of a wave over the next week or so and go further in the competition than many would have predicted. Denmark made it through Group C but they were hardly at their best and it would be a genuine surprise to see them push Germany close.
