Championship Odds and Fixtures
Championship Acca of the Week
We've had two Championship acca tips come in in a row now, both of them around 11/1 so this week we're pushing the boat out a little bit to a 20/1 acca, but I am still pretty confident with the selections made thanks to a pretty generous fixture list.
Leeds v Oxford - Leeds to win to nil
Of all the tips on this week's Championship acca, this is the one tip I have the most confidence in and that's why I tip it pretty much every Leeds home game.
It's with good reason too, as Leeds have the best home form in the Championship this season with six goals conceded in 11 matches.
Oxford are in a bad way at the moment after parting with Des Buckingham and while they won't exactly role over on Saturday, I think they'll be relatively happy to keep the damage to a minimum.
This game screams 2-0 or 3-0 to me.
Sunderland v Norwich - Sunderland to win and BTTS
Just when you thought Sunderland would drift away and out of the fight for the top two, they come back fighting and have now scored late goals in their last three games to claim some points.
Whether or not they can maintain that habit - it is slightly reminiscent of Ipswich last season - remains to be seen, but their home form cannot be questioned and in Norwich they have an opponent struggling slightly.
At the start of the season I thought they looked a good shout for top six but a 3-0 defeat to QPR and a goalless draw at Portsmouth were not good results and both were on the road, the Stadium of Light is a much harder journey to make but I do expect them to get on the scoresheet.
Plymouth v Middlesbrough - BTTS
There is no doubt that Plymouth are struggling, and it is hard to make a case for them not going down this season given the rate at which they have been conceding goals.
It's 16 now in their last five matches and they're probably the one team you want to be playing right now - but let's not forget about their home form.
Their last three home games have seen them beat Portsmouth, draw with Watford and lose narrowly to Swansea - scoring in each - so I can see them being on target once again, and Middlesbrough too with their attacking talent available.
Cardiff v Sheffield United - Sheffield United to win
There's not a whole lot of thought that has gone into this tip, other than Sheffield United are on fire and just going from strength to strength.
Chris Wilder has done an exceptional job turning the club around after last season and I'm backing them to finish in the top two.
They have won eight of their last 10 matches - drawing the other two - and Cardiff are struggling having lost their last four matches. It might not be a rout, but they should have enough to get another three points.
