The Capitals go into this game as second favourites, despite holding home advantage.
On the face of it, that is easy to understand given that the Titans are above them in the table and in a stronger position. But the Capitals absolutely wiped the floor in the reverse fixture last week and there is nothing to say to me that that can’t happen again.
Yes the Capitals lost their two-game winning streak against Sunrisers, but with the way they’re going at the moment that can be put down to a freak result with the form Travis Head is in, while the Titans’ win over Punjab Kings did not answer the lingering questions over their batting.
Having been bowled out for 89 by the Capitals, they limped over the line in chasing 143 to beat PK and rely too heavily on Shubman Gill to score big. With a full fit squad, the Capitals have a well-balanced and dangerous side so we think another win is on the cards.
Jake Fraser-McGurk to hit 4+ sixes
One of the thrilling parts of watching Delhi Capitals play at the moment is seeing the young Australian go out to bat. He has long been talked about as a potential star, but lately we have started to see exactly why, with his fearless hitting that has led to comparisons with David Warner.
Fraser-McGurk is intent on one thing when he goes out to bat, and that is simply hitting sixes.
In three innings so far he has hit a remarkable 14 sixes and just nine fours, totally 140 runs at an average of 46.67 and a strike-rate of 222.22. It was a brief 20 off 10 balls (two sixes) when the two sides faced each other last week and an astonishing 65 off 18 balls (seven sixes) in the defeat to Sunrisers.

Pant to score 30+, Kuldeep 2+ wickets and Delhi Capitals to make the highest powerplay score
Given the firepower the Capitals have at the top of the order, there should be no doubt that they will come out of the blocks quicker than the Titans in this game.
The strengths of Gill and Sai Sudharsan are not in belting the ball out of the park - at least not in the way Fraser-McGurk, Warner and Prithvi Shaw do - but instead they set it up for the lower order to motor in the latter stages, so we think the hosts will edge the powerplay score.
Aside from the form of the top order, the Capitals also have an in-form Rishabh Pant who has put any concerns over his fitness to bed with 254 runs at 36.29 so far this campaign, with an improved strike-rate of 150.29 to boot - he looks a player playing somewhere close to his best.
And the form of Kuldeep will be crucial to the Capitals for the rest of the campaign. He was forced to miss a couple of games a couple of weeks ago but is already their joint-top wicket-taker with 10 in five matches. The innings was effectively over by the time he came on in this game last week so he should have more of an influence this time round.
