England v New Zealand Match Preview
It is tough to know exactly where England are at the moment, but these autumn internationals should give a real indication of what to expect from them in the upcoming Six Nations and beyond.
They welcome the All Blacks to Twickenham for the first time since 2022 and have a realistic chance of recording their first win over New Zealand since 2012, which would go down as a statement victory for Steve Borthwick's reign.
The summer tour to that part of the world went better than most would have expected, losing 16-15 and 24-17 in two closely-fought games, and following on from the Six Nations in which they defeated Ireland by a single point but also lost to Scotland, it adds a real unknown element to proceedings.
It looks as though Borthwick has settled on a formula and a team for the time being though, and having held leads at times in the summer they will be desperate to go one further and hold on for what would be a famous win and important for the development of the team.
I do fancy them to get over the line this time too, and to win three of their four games this autumn (they also play Australia, South Africa and Japan), though they will be hit by a couple of injuries to big players.
New Zealand aren't in the best, having struggled in the summer and also losing to the Springboks in the Rugby Championship so there is a real opportunity for England, and one I fancy them to take at 8/5 with betfair.
Seriously, considering the respective form of the two sides, that looks a pretty tasty price and remember, while they haven't lost at Twickenham since 2012, they also haven't won there in six years.
I'm also liking the look of Immanuel Feyi-Waboso to score the first try at 12/1 with Paddy Power.
The winger has dynamite in his boots and has taken to international rugby immediately and scored twice against the All Blacks in the summer - one in each game - so even though he is now an unknown quantity, the winger has it in him to become a real star.
