Hull v Leeds Match Preview
After a relatively tough run of results on the road, Leeds look to have refound their mojo with successive wins to nil over Stoke and Derby in the Christmas period.
It means that they emerge on the other side top of the table, and despite dropping points late on to Blackburn at Elland Road on New Year's Day, their home form has been impeccable and is now starting to be matched away from home.
It doesn't make things easy to predict though, with those two wins mentioned courtesy of two turgid rather than convincing performances, and with Hull going through something of a revival this should be tighter encounter than the table suggests.
Everything would point to a Leeds win, but they have struggled to break down teams away from home and with the impact Ruben Selles has had at Hull, it would be interesting to see the approach he takes on Saturday.
They beat Swansea at the MKM Stadiun and were only denied a point by a very late Middlesbrough strike, so they should fancy their chances of frustrating Leeds in what I think is bound to be a low-scorer.
I do, however, expect Leeds to edge it considering the steel they have shown on the road in recent weeks.
My first prediction for the game is that Leeds win but with under 2.5 goals scored in the game. The Stoke and Derby wins were 2-0 and 1-0 respectively, so 11/4 with betfair looks a good price to me.
I also like the look of Draw/Leeds HT/FT result at 18/5, but my second tip will look at a goalscorer and I'm expecting Mateo Joseph to start up front for the visitors with Joel Piroe rested, so for him to score in a Leeds win at 5/1 would be tempting to me as well.
