It was a disappointing set of results on Wednesday with Leeds conceding late and Burnley having a man sent off effectively ruining the tip, and we have pretty long odds this time too but I do like the look of what we have, so let's take a closer look at each game.
Hull v Leeds - Leeds to win and under 3.5 goals
This one looks like a decent price to me, and I'm pretty surprised we've got 6/5 for it to come off.
Leeds have shown signs recently of getting their away form up to the mark with successive wins over Stoke and Derby to nil (they have scored three goals across those two matches), while Hull have been improved under Ruben Selles if not exactly free-scoring.
I expect Leeds to nudge over the line but the hosts will make it difficult for them, so I'm expecting something along the lines of a 0-1, 0-2, 1-2 win for Leeds. They are hard to predict on the road, but we're covering a few bases here.
Middlesbrough v Cardiff - Middlesbrough to win
This should be the banker of the round, but the Championship throws up so many surprises that you can never be totally sure.
Boro are a good outfit and I expect them to go on and establish themselves as a firm part of that top six, and this is one of those games they should really be targeting against a side so far down the table.
They have two wins and two draws (albeit one against Burnley) from their last four home games and this should be one that they win relatively comfortably.
Sheffield Wednesday v Millwall - Sheffield Wednesday to win and BTTS
Wednesday are coming up on the outside to be considered as play-off contenders and with three wins and a draw in their last five games, are a team in fine fettle.
They need to improve on their home form but a 4-2 win over Derby on Wednesday was a good start to that and made it two on the bounce, but they need to make it into a bit more of a fortress if they wish to push their case for the top six.
One thing they can be relied upon is goals in their games. Millwall might not score many, but I expect Wednesday to offer up enough chances for them to have some enjoyment on the attack, having conceded eight in their last three games.
Watford v Sheffield United - BTTS
I have resisted making a call on the result for this game just because I don't know what to expect from Sheffield United at the moment.
I had them down as favourites for the title only a week ago, but their squad depth has been exposed with three winless matches on the bounce and a trip to entertaining Watford isn't exactly what they need.
This one could go either way and a draw would probably be an expected result, but each of Watford's last six matches have seen BTTS come through and I think we'll see the same again.
