Leeds v Norwich Match Preview
Leeds are back in action on Wednesday night as they host Norwich at Elland Road, having gone into the midweek round of fixtures top of the table.
The 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday was somewhat flattering having been matched throughout large parts of the game, but they were able to showcase the strength of their squad with two late goals putting a gloss on the win.
And that strength should come in use on Wednesday with the games coming thick and fast but Daniel Farke able to call on options such as Largie Ramizani and Wilfried Gnonto from the bench, both of whom would be starting for pretty much any side in the Championship.
I think those two could well start and have a huge impact on the game with Farke clearly keen to keep rotating his attacking options and Manor Solomon carrying a knock, and with it being a home game the form guide suggests they will be able to rotate while still getting three points.
Norwich on the other hand have been very hit-and-miss so far this season. At times they have looked like a play-off contender but they have fallen away since the early parts of the season.
Their form on the road does not bode well for the toughest trip in the division, with just three wins and four draws so far, and 21 goals conceded.
Leeds have conceded just seven goals at home so far this season and scored 33 in 14 matches, so I am backing another win to nil for Leeds, which is priced up at 13/10 with 10Bet and looks a no-brainer to me.
I mentioned Ramizani and he had a huge impact off the bench on Sunday, with an expert turn and finish from the edge of the area and a well-hit shot assisting Ao Tanaka giving him a goal and an assist in about 20 minute's work, so I think he will be in line for a start on Wednesday.
Ramizani to net again - for the third game running - and Leeds to win comes in at 4/1 with Coral and looks another good-value bet.
