Packers v 49ers Under 46.5 Points
Both Green Bay and San Francisco average 25.0 points per game, but moving the chains consistently against each other will be a challenging task. These two teams rank among the league’s top performers in most defensive categories.
The 49ers concede 22.2 points per game (16th in the NFL), allowing 197.2 passing yards (8th) and 105.0 rushing yards (also 8th) per game. Meanwhile, the Packers give up 21.3 points per game (10th), with 207.5 passing yards (13th) and 119.6 rushing yards (14th) on average.
San Francisco has struggled offensively in recent weeks, failing to exceed 23 points in three of its last four games. Injuries on offence are a concern, with quarterback Brock Purdy limited in practice due to a shoulder issue and tackle Trent Williams sidelined with an ankle injury. Williams' eventual absence would be a massive blow.
On the other side, three of Green Bay’s last four games have finished with fewer than 47 total points. Last week, the Packers narrowly edged the Chicago Bears 20-19 and managed to limit the high-powered Detroit Lions to 24 points in a ten-point home loss in Week 9.
Jordan Love Over 0.5 Interceptions
The Packers hold high expectations for Jordan Love, and the 26-year-old quarterback has performed commendably over eight games this season. Love has thrown for 2,081 yards and 16 touchdowns while completing 62.3% of his pass attempts.
However, Love’s tendency to commit turnovers is concerning, as he has thrown 11 interceptions in eight games. He has been intercepted in every appearance this season, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see that streak continue when the 49ers visit Lambeau Field.
San Francisco’s defence is formidable, ranking seventh in the NFL for interceptions (11) and tenth for passes defended (48). They have only conceded 11 receiving touchdowns this season, relying on strong secondary coverage rather than frequent blitzes.
Love may feel compelled to take risks with his passing, which plays into the hands of the 49ers’ defence. They have secured at least one interception in six of their last seven games.
In last season’s playoff matchup, Love threw for 194 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions during the Packers’ 24-21 defeat in San Francisco. This makes him a strong candidate to feature in our Packers v 49ers tips.

The three-time Pro Bowl running back is likely to find the end zone soon. Last season, McCaffrey racked up an impressive 21 touchdowns in 16 games. He had 17 carries for 98 yards and two touchdowns in a playoff win against Green Bay.
The Packers have already conceded nine touchdowns to opposing running backs this season, and McCaffrey’s dynamic skill set will make him a significant challenge for their defence.
