PGA Tour Golf Betting Tips & Betting Offers: World Wide Technology Championship

The PGA Tour swings over to Mexico for the World Wide Technology Championship this week.
Until 2023, the tournament had been staged at El Camaleon Golf Club, but the Tiger Woods-designed El Cardonal Golf Club, which made its PGA Tour debut 12 months ago, will be thrust into the limelight again.
Characterised by wide fairways, the putting surfaces are spacious and hitting the greens from approaches will be vital.
500 FedEx Cup points are up for grabs, and the focus during the autumn has been on players to secure their full PGA Tour cards for the 2025 campaign.
South African Erik van Rooyen is the reigning champion, finishing two strokes clear of nearest challenger Camilo Villegas.
While many of the Tour’s big guns will be in the Middle East this week for the lucrative Abu Dhabi Championship, the World Wide Technology should make for a good watch.
Ahead of the first round, I have rummaged through the markets and handpicked a couple of golf betting tips for you to consider, plus the top golf betting offers from the best golf betting sites.
PGA Tour Golf Betting Tips - World Wide Technology Championship
Max Greyserman to land maiden win
On the prowl this week and on the hunt for a maiden PGA Tour win is Max Greyserman.
The American, who turned pro in 2017, is currently 48th in the FedEx Cup standings, and there doesn’t seem to be any immediate threat of him relinquishing his PGA Tour card rights.
The second half of the 2024 season has been promising for Greyserman with a flurry of runner-ups, and that included a T2 at the ZOZO Championship last month.
He has now cashed out for T33 or better in each of his past 10 starts, and he ranks second for putting aside.
To build his case further, Greyserman has accumulated more points (93.03) than any other player in the field since June 1.
I have a feeling Greyserman could snag the title this week, and he’s trading at a tempting 14/1 with Paddy Power.
J.J. Spaun to lead the pack into the weekend
J.J. Spaun has been in brilliant form of late, and he is arguably playing some of the best golf of his career.
A top-10 finish at the ZOZO Championship last week pays testament to this, and he carded a round of 64 in the final round to finish in style.
The Californian has finished T26 or better in seven of his past 11 starts, and during the stretch, Spaun ranks third in the following performance metrics: SG: Tee-to-Green, SG: Ball-Striking and Total Strokes Gained.
That should serve him well this week, and while he did little apart from making the cut last year at this event, I expect an improved showing.
To round off my golf betting tips, I’m going with Spaun to head the pack going into the weekend, and he’s available at an eye-catching 28/1 with bet365.
