Of the 36 teams that are currently competing in this season’s new Champions League format, only three have failed to pick up any points before Matchday 6 gets underway in midweek and unfortunately for RB Leipzig, they are one of this unwanted trio.

Back-to-back league wins has reignited the Villa Park’s bid to return to Europe’s premier club competition via a top-four domestic finish but now they need to reignite themselves after a downturn in continental performance.
Three successive wins have been followed by just a single Champions League point from the last six made available and perhaps more importantly, Villa have also failed to score in each of their last two European outings.
But now it is time for the first of my two tips, and I think this is the night when Aston Villa return to winning ways in the Champions League and considering they have conceded one goal all tournament, I am backing Villa to win to nil at odds of 9/2 with Paddy Power.
