The Hundred Betting Tips: Oval Invincibles v Birmingham Phoenix
Oval Invincibles men are tipped to go back-to-back this year. Can they get off to a flying start. We believe they will. Read our Hundred betting tips preview below

- Oval Invincibles to win both matches - 2/1 with BetMGM
- Liam Livingstone to hit 2+ sixes - 5/4 with Betway
- Adam Zampa to take 1.5+ wickets - 6/4 with bet365
- Will Jacks to hit a fifty - 5/2 with bet365
- Serena Smale to top-score for Birmingham Phoenix - 15/2 with BetUK
This could be a good night to be an Invincibles supporter.
For those of you who’ve read my tournament preview, it will be no surprise to learn that I believe the Oval Invincibles men will get their campaign off to a winning start against a Birmingham side headlined by Moeen Ali and Liam Livingstone.
They are 8/11 to win with bet365. Now, rather than take that as a single, I would be keen to have a daily win double including the Oval women’s side, who also look good to beat the Phoenix.
The champions of 2022 have quite a powerful looking side, with the likes of Alice Capsey, Marizanne Kapp and Amanda-Jade Wellington on board. They are also 8/11 for the single, but let’s have a crack at the 2/1 win double for both Oval sides. That’s available with BetMGM.
The Hundred Betting Tips
Jacks Will start off tournament with a bang
Before I get to Will Jacks, I will start with his England team-mate Liam Livingstone and divert to an Australian spinner along the way.
Livingstone has made a very impressive return to domestic cricket from World Cup duty with England. He scored 54 not out and 36 in two Blast games for Lancashire last week. He missed last year’s event through injury.
He is 5/4 with betway to hit two sixes in the match, a price I’d be taking given he hit six in two knocks for the Red Rose county.
Aussie leg-spinner Adam Zampa is 6/4 with bet365 to take over 1.5 wickets for the Oval Invincibles.
He impressed with 13 in seven matches for his country at the T20 World Cup, and I can see him doing well.
Jacks didn’t have the T20 World Cup campaign he hoped for with England, but he was back in the runs for Surrey in the Vitality Blast. Just over a week ago, he smashed 86 in a win over Essex.
He’s 5/2 to score a fifty for the Invincibles with bet365. He has a Hundred century to his name, so he clearly loves this format and excels in it.
Smale is absolutely no snail
One price which has stood out at me is Birmingham Phoenix batter Seren Smale to top score for them at 15/2 with BetUK.
The England A batter has enjoyed an excellent summer for Lancashire Thunder in regional cricket, including a top score of 88 in T20s. She has been batting at three and four for her region, and I think she could be one of those who catches people unaware in this competition.
She strikes a clean ball, and given the chance will enjoy Oval conditions. She was a part of the Southern Brave squad which won the Hundred last year, though the 19-year-old didn’t play a game.
Fingers crossed, she’s thrown in from the off by Phoenix this year.
