The Brave’s women side have had a nightmare start to the competition and the 2023 champions remain without a win, while the Superchargers men were battered on Tuesday night in Ben Stokes’ return to the competition.

The Hundred Cricket Betting Tips
The Hundred Preview
First of all, before I get onto the mouthwatering men’s clash, can I just say that I’m surprised the Northern Superchargers women are 1/1 with BetMGM, amongst other firms, to win their morning clash with Welsh Fire at Sophia Gardens.
The Fire may sit top of the table on eight points - four wins from five - and lead the Superchargers by a point. But the Headingley side are motoring.
In their last three matches, they have bowled Birmingham out for 54, Manchester for 92 and the Invincibles out for 64. They look a class above anything else I’ve seen so far.
Onto the evening men’s clash at the Oval between the Invincibles and the Brave. This is one I can’t wait to see, and is the centrepiece of this Hundred betting tips preview.
These two are setting the pace in the men’s event, both claiming wins earlier this week - Brave beat Welsh Fire on Monday and Invincibles beat Manchester Originals last night - to sit on eight points apiece at the top of the log with four wins from five.
Overall, I won’t be diverting away from my pre-tournament tip on the Invincibles men to regain their title, but on this occasion I do believe the Brave will win as they’ve been more of the dominant force so far. I expect Invincibles to be at full steam come finals time.
But look at some of the Invincibles’ wins so far and they’ve scraped home. They did so against the Welsh Fire and also against the Originals last night.
I’d be more than happy to be siding with the odds against Brave to win this, at 21/20 with betway.
Back at Sophia Gardens, I would be taking the Superchargers to claim a daily double. Their women are my tip for the title, while their men are far, far better than the 10-wicket drubbing they received at the hands of Birmingham last night.
Ben Stokes and co will recover. Midnite are offering the Superchargers win double at 2.17/1.
Oval Invincibles v Southern Brave
To finish off this Hundred betting tips preview, let’s pick out two bets from the evening men’s clash between the two pacesetters - the two teams who have won four out of five.
Betway are offering 23/10 on Southern Brave to win and for their captain James Vince to hit at least one six in the match. The opener has hit 11 of them in five matches. So if he gets in, he should cover that side of the bargain.
And how about a 14.6/1 double on Adam Zampa to be the Oval’s top bowler in the match and for Chris Jordan to be the Brave top bowler? Both have been outstanding in this campaign.
At time of writing, Zampa is the leading wicket-taker in the tournament with 12 and Jordan joint third with 10.
