Arsenal vs Crystal Palace Predictions, Tips & Latest Odds
Adam Martin
We have got an exciting match on Sunday lunchtime as Crystal Palace take on league leaders Arsenal at the Emirates.
Mikel Arteta's men will be hoping to keep their run of form going in this London derby against a tough opponent in Palace, who will be smarting after losing at home in Europe on Thursday.
We’ve got a few betting tips and predictions to look at ahead of the game.
Arsenal vs Crystal Palace Tips
We have the latest live odds from our selection of sports betting sites ahead of the game, with Arsenal comfortable favourites for this one.
Tip 1: Arsenal to win and both teams to score - 23/10
Arsenal have looked good so far this season and sit top of the table with 19 points out of a possible 24. Their home form has been impressive as well which will make things tough for Palace in this game.
They beat Leeds 5-0, Nottingham Forest 3-0, drew with Man City 1-1 and then beat West Ham 2-0. To only concede one goal over four games shows how good this defence is.
Despite that it does feel that Crystal Palace have the potential to cause the Gunners some problems. Palace have looked good this season and are currently in the top half of the table.
They have also got some impressive away form this season. They drew away to Chelsea on the opening day and then beat Aston Villa 3-0 at Villa Park. They beat West Ham away but did lose to Everton in their last away game.
If you include a win against Liverpool as well then it shows, it’s been an impressive start to the campaign. Beating Arsenal would be a major upset but they can score a goal and cause them problems.
Tip 2: Jean-Phillipe Mateta to score - 3/1
Although Palace are away from home against the best defence in the country you must take the price for Mateta. It’s not often that you would see 100/30 for a striker who has just scored a hat-trick in his last game.
Mateta has started in all eight of Crystal Palace's league games and has scored five times. He is not afraid to have a shot either, having 28 over the eight games and hitting the target 16 times.
The French international also scored for his country against Iceland during the International break. His confidence must be flying after that and then scoring three against Bournemouth last weekend. 100/30 is a huge price for him and one you must take.
Tip 3: Munoz 1+ shot on target, Mitchell card, Saka to score - 40/1
Daniel Munoz has started all eight league games for Crystal Palace. He has had 11 shots and five of them have been on target. The attacking defender has got a good chance of getting one shot on target.
Tyrick Mitchell has started in all eight games as well and has seen two yellow cards. With Arsenal likely to be attacking a lot he is a candidate to see a yellow card at a massive price.
Finally add Bukayo Saka to score anytime. The right winger is a huge threat for Arsenal and has had two goals already in only five starts.
