2024 World Series of Darts Finals – The Favourites
We highlight three players that hold an excellent chance of landing the 2024 World Series of Darts Finals.
Luke Humphries - 11/4
Luke Humphries still hasn’t lost many games in 2024.
The world number one has bagged the World Championship, World Matchplay and World Cup of Darts already this year, and was a losing finalist at the UK Open and Premier League.
In just his second World Series of Darts Finals, “Cool Hand” is tipped to go further than his semi-final finish last year, but will have to walk through his nemesis Luke Littler in order to do so.
Humphries is also on a collision course with MVG in the quarter-finals, so if he is to win this title then he would have earned it...
Luke Littler - 7/2
Luke Littler has been the best performer on the World Series of Darts tour this season, winning titles in Bahrain and Poland and finishing runner-up in Netherlands and Austria.
He’s now got that muscle memory of winning after landing the Premier League in the spring, and will receive big support from the Dutch crowd.
His confidence on the oche shows in his darts but he’s been handed a tough draw against Ross Smith in the opener…
And if he is to advance into the second round, then Raymond van Barneveld could await infront of an adoring home crowd.
Michael van Gerwen - 13/2
With five titles here, MVG knows his way to a World Series of Darts Finals crown.
He isn’t the same player from a few seasons ago, but he still knows how to go deep in tournaments, underlined by runner-up finishes at the Masters and Matchplay this season.
He won the Dutch World Series of Darts event earlier this season and arrives as the number five seed – importantly, putting him in the same half as Luke Humphries and Luke Littler.
If he can get up and running against Jonny Clayton in the opening round then the sky is the limit for the “Green Machine” in Amsterdam.
Gerwyn Price - 15/2
Gerwyn Price will be the happiest man with the draw on his Eurostar to Amsterdam.
The Welshman’s possible route to the final will not include MVG, Littler or Humphries, and he’ll have to beat a mixture of injured and out of form players in order to reach the semi-finals.
Michael Smith or Rob Cross could well meet him down the line, but these are players that the “Iceman” knows inside out, giving real value to his 15/2 price.
He won the recent World Series event in Australia romping Littler 8-1 in the final, so comes to Amsterdam with confidence he can beat anyone.

Gerwyn Price to reach the Final
9/2 is a steal for Gerwyn Price to win four matches where he will probably start as a pretty healthy favourite.
Dave Chisnall is the only real banana skin en route to the semi-finals, and once there it turns into a war of attrition over 21 legs.
Price is finding his form in the latter half of 2024 and should be well worth a look here.
Top half of the draw to win the 2024 World Series of Darts Finals
With Littler, Humphries and van Gerwen all crowding out the top half, there is where we expect the winner to come from.
Between the three they have contested most of the major finals on tour over the past 18 months, and it wouldn’t be a surprise to anyone to see one of those three lifting the title on Sunday evening.
Over 2.5 170 checkout finishes
With the added round in this year’s tournament, expecting a handful of 170 finishes isn’t much to ask.
MVG and Luke Littler both enjoy this finish and leave it more than most, so mark them down for one each and then the third is up for grabs...
