Smith Beats Humphries in Sheffield Final
Michael Smith went into the final night of action at Sheffield with a very simple task on his hands. A win over Nathan Aspinall in the quarter finals would deliver him a place in the final four, and in his first game of the night, he got the job done, winning that match 6-3.
The pressure was off after that, and it allowed Smith to keep on producing some good darts.
A 6-5 win over Luke Littler in the semi finals took him through to the final match of the night, where he won 6-3 against Luke Humphries, ending the regular season in style and finding some form before London’s closing night.
