Melling Chase Latest Odds
The odds are out with the best betting sites for this race, and we've got an odds on favourite in Jonbon.
Despite failing to win at the Cheltenham Festival, he's a strong favourite here, with El Fabiolo and Protektorat being the main dangers.
Potentially, one of the races of the week and of course during the three days, we will be pinpointing the best tips, latest news and of course the best Grand National free bets we can find.
Jonbon has a little to prove after Cheltenham, but there's definitely a case to be made that he's just not quite as good there as he is elsewhere.
His second behind Marine Nationale was an excellent effort given how far back he was in the field after making a mistake. Jumping will of course be tested here, but usually, he's pretty rock solid.
El Fabiolo comes in as the slightly fresher horse, second at Navan at the start of March, he bypassed Cheltenham and has a few more recovery days in him than the rest.
Protektorat is another fancy, a solid effort in the Ryanair Chase, though he's coming into the veteran stage of his career, up against younger legs here.
