It is well known how attacking the Sunrisers openers have been this season. While the strike-rates of Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma haven’t quite been what they were at the start of the season, they each remain prolific six hitters and have hit 52 between them over the course of the season.
They have also both hit sixes in the last two matches, so you can be sure that they won’t hesitate to go over the ropes.
The Sunrisers duo aren’t our concern here, with KL Rahul and Arshin Kulkarni favouring a slightly more conservative approach up front, but Rahul tends to expand as he goes on and has 15 sixes to his name this season.
Heinrich Klaasen to top-score for Sunrisers
You could be forgiven for thinking Klaasen hadn’t quite hit the heights of last year for Sunrisers, having been outshone by the openers Head and Sharma, but he has still had an excellent campaign.
With 339 runs at 42 and a strike rate over 186 - only just short of Head’s - it has been a remarkably consistent season for Klaasen with three half-centuries and 31 sixes making him the second high six-hitter in the competition.
The pressure is on Sunrisers as they enter the end of the season and he is a player who will step up and deliver. Without a half-century in his last five games, he is undoubtedly due a big knock.
