The New Lion & Final Demand Set for Mouth Watering Cheltenham Clash

Wednesday declarations for the Cheltenham Festival are out, and so is confirmation of something that racing fans were hoping for.
The big Wednesday clash will happen in the opening race, the Turners Novices' Hurdle.
The New Lion, for Britain and trained by Dan Skelton, takes on Final Demand, for Ireland, and trained by Willie Mullins. It promises to be a thrilling race, and could well be the race of the entire week.
The festival is here and we've got some huge Cheltenham free bets and offers from some of the leading UK betting brands.
Two Stars Confirmed for Turners Novices' Hurdle
One of the biggest talking points for those giving out Cheltenham day 2 tips is going to be the opening race.
It'll be interesting to see where the money goes too, because there's been a lot of support, and strong words at preview evenings, for both of these runners.
The latest Turners Novices' Hurdle odds can't split the pair, they're joint favourites and locked together in a great battle.
Of course, there's plenty of runners that deserve respect elsewhere, especially The Yellow Clay who is third favourite and has made a nice impression all season long.
But it's the big two that we can't wait for, and hopefully they're both coming into the race nicely with two hurdles to go!
Turners Novices' Hurdle Latest Odds
It's neck and neck with betting sites but who knows what will happen as this race edges closer, we could see a move for one of them, which makes that particular horse the favourite.
It could also come down to how Willie Mullins does on day one. He's got Kopek Des Bordes, Majborough and Lossiemouth as strong favourites on the opening day.
It only takes those to go in, and the bookies will be running scared of the Irish trainer, which will then impact on the price of Final Demand.
