AC Milan and Inter Milan will lock horns on Monday evening at the San Siro in what could be a defining moment in the Serie A title race.
The Derby della Madonnina represents one of the biggest games in world football, and Inter could wrap up a historic 20th Scudetto which would unlock a second golden star.
Simone Inzaghi’s men are 14 points clear of their bitter adversaries with six games remaining, reflecting a handsome advantage, and victory will mathematically secure another Championship crown.
Meanwhile, the Rossoneri, who crashed out of the Europa League in the quarter-finals at the hands of Roma on Thursday evening, won’t want to see their adversaries rub their noses in it with victory.
There is no love lost between these two sides, and they usually end up being combustible encounters.
But will Milan delay what feels like the seemingly inevitable? I have rummaged through the betting markets and plucked out a couple of tips for your consideration.
Milan unable to spoil Inter’s title party
So far this season, Inter have been virtually faultless, losing just once, and they last tasted defeat back in September against Sassuolo.
In the previous meeting, Inter won at a canter as they demolished Milan 5-1, and there was a gulf in class between the two sides on the day.
However, this meeting pits together two of the most prolific Serie A outfits, and the Rossoneri slightly shade things in terms of clear-cut chance conversion rate (54%) to Inter (51%).
Milan are arguably more proficient from corners, scoring the most of any side this term (10), while Inter are more clinical from open play, netting nine times from moves that involved at least 10 passes.
When you also factor in that these teams have been devastating in terms of scoring in the first 15 minutes of games, this sets things up for potentially a tantalising encounter.
Inter, in more recent times, have come out on top in clashes with Milan, and I fancy them to pick up all three points and seal the title.

Hakan Calhanoglu to get Inter on their way
Given the bounty of attacking riches at their disposal, it should come as no surprise that Inter have been able to score at will this term.
Indeed, they have netted in their last 40 Serie A matches, a new club record, and they could well eclipse Juve’s all-time total of 44 by the end of the season.
Anyway, while Lautaro Martinez will hog the limelight, and has struck 23 times this term, there appears to be little value in him finding the scoresheet.
Instead, I have sought out Hakan Calhanoglu, who has found the net in his past two league outings, and he is enjoying his best return in Inter colours, plundering 11 goals.
As Inter’s designated penalty taker, that has been the Turkish star’s main source of goals. While we couldn’t locate that particular special, Paddy Power is advertising tempting odds of 17/2 for Calhanoglu to open the scoring and haunt his former employers.
