Bournemouth vs Nottingham Forest Predictions, Tips & Latest Odds

Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest face off in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon at the Vitality Stadium, and there will be a new face in the Forest dugout.
Sean Dyche has been tasked with trying to keep Forest, who are currently ensconced in the bottom three, afloat, and made a winning start on Thursday against Porto - something Ange Postecoglou failed to do in his 39 days in charge.
Bournemouth, however, are flying high in third, but can they keep their good run going? We’ve got a few betting tips to consider ahead of kick-off.
Bournemouth vs Nottingham Forest Tips
Bournemouth are the form team going into this game, but has Sean Dyche's arrival had an impact on the latest odds with sports betting sites?
Here's three tips, plus the latest game odds.
Tip 1: Bournemouth to win to nil - 9/5
It’s fair to assert Bournemouth have been one of the Premier League’s surprise packages this season. Under Andoni Iraola, the Cherries have made strides, and they are breathing down the necks of Manchester City and Arsenal.
They have been entertaining to watch, although it was almost inexplicable how they let a 2-0 lead slip away to Crystal Palace before leaving Selhurst Park with a point.
Forest’s owner Evangelos Marinakis was ruthless in dismissing Ange Postecoglou 17 minutes after the final whistle against Chelsea, but the former Tottenham manager paid the price for a sequence of dismal results.
Dyche, though, is the new man in the hotseat and he will be the firefighter. Unlike the gungho Postecoglou, Dyche prefers the more old-school style of going long, and when at Everton, his side averaged 39.5% possession.
The change in tactics will take time to adapt to, but Bournemouth will be ready to dish out more pain. The South Coast outfit surged to a 5-0 win last season, and they are unbeaten in their past three league clashes at home to Forest. I don’t expect as emphatic a scoreline, but Bournemouth are a well-drilled unit, and I don’t think their defence will be breached.
Tip 2: Antoine Semenyo to score 2+ - 5/1
The goals have flowed at Bournemouth, netting 14 this term in the top flight.
Antoine Semenyo has been responsible for almost half of that tally (six), and he has chipped in with three assists, so nine goal involvements in total.
His contribution to the cause is undeniable, and he’s hard to keep quiet. Semeneyo’s goals have arrived in clusters, and he’s scored in Bournemouth’s past two league meetings with Forest.
The Ghanaian could be a thorn in the Forest side, and he could have a productive afternoon, helping himself to a brace.
Tip 3: Bournemouth 3-0 Nottingham Forest - 12/1
Bournemouth rank high this season for duels won (fourth) and set pieces (joint first), and they could come charging out of the blocks.
As far as Forest are concerned, they will just have to weather the storm, and it is a tough opener for Dyche.
The Cherries have scored three goals or more in their past two league outings, and it could be a comfortable afternoon for them.
As mentioned, I don’t think Bournemouth will emulate their 5-0 thrashing of Forest last season, but there are inviting odds for a 3-0 scoreline, which seems more realistic.
