Burnley vs Nottingham Forest Free Bets, Betting Tips & Predictions
Burnley will want to give their fans something to cheer about when they host Nottingham Forest on Sunday afternoon which marks the final day of the Premier League season.
The Clarets were consigned to their 23rd league defeat of the campaign when they succumbed to a 2-1 loss at the hands of Tottenham last weekend, and it proved to be heartbreaking as it sealed their relegation.
Forest, on the other hand, are on the right side of the dotted line, and despite a 3-2 reverse against Chelsea, they have secured their top-flight status for another campaign.
It would take a 12-goal swing for them to drop out of the Premier League and that appears to be highly improbable.
Let’s also not forget that Forest were unable to overturn a four-point penalty enforced for not satisfying financial fair play regulations, so staying up was a feat in itself.
But will Burnley exit the Premier League with some pride intact? I have rummaged through the betting markets and handpicked a couple of tips for you to mull over ahead of kick-off.
Nottingham Forest to sign off in style
For Forest, this is little more than a dead rubber, as they are in no danger of going down.
While a 17th-place finish is far from ideal, the players will regroup, and they will come back stronger next term.
There were some positives to take from the defeat to Chelsea, although Cole Palmer ran them ragged at times, orchestrating things from midfield.
Burnley, on the other hand, have been found wanting for much of the campaign, and it remains to be seen whether Vincent Kompany will be allowed to stay on to try and push for a return to the promised land next term.

Anyway, 76 goals leaked underline Burnley’s defensive deficiencies, and while they held Forest to a 1-1 draw earlier in the campaign, I think it will be a different story this time.
Invariably, contests at Turf Moor have seen the BTTS line met, and I fancy Forest to win & BTTS which is available at an inviting 13/5 with Paddy Power.
Callum Hudson-Odoi to get Forest off to a quick start
While there have been some dispiriting moments on and off the pitch for Forest this term, Callum Hudson-Odoi has been a rare beacon of light.
The winger, who only joined last summer from Chelsea in a £5 million deal, has been worth every penny and has made some significant contributions.
Indeed, with his eight goals registered, only Chris Wood (12) has netted more often which pays testament to his output.
Hudson-Odoi has been amongst the goals of late, registering three in his past two league outings.
To round things off, I think Hudson-Odoi could get Forest off to a quick start and draw first blood in the game. I’ve located a 13/2 price with William Hill for Hudson-Odoi to open the scoring which could be worth pursuing.
