Wolves vs Burnley Predictions, Tips & Latest Odds

Wolves will be looking to alleviate their well-documented problems when they lock horns in the Premier League with Burnley on Sunday afternoon at Molineux.
Rooted to the bottom of the table, Wolves are in desperate need of a victory, as are Burnley, who are sitting just two points above the dreaded drop zone in 17th spot.
But what should you expect? We’ve waded through the markets and sourced some betting tips to cast your eye over ahead of kick-off.
Wolves vs Burnley Tips
It's not just tips and predictions we provide, here's a look at the latest odds from our sports betting sites ahead of the game.
Tip 1: Wolves to win & BTTS - 7/2
Wolves have had a chronic shortage of luck, and they can’t seem to buy a win. Vitor Pereira, meanwhile, is trying to stave off the sack rumours and avoid becoming the fourth Premier League managerial casualty this season.
Against Sunderland last weekend, Wolves spurned some decent openings, and unsurprisingly, their expected goals (xG) rate is low (6.95), although that is better than that of Burnley (5.39).
Five points off safety highlights Wolves’ shortcomings this term, but they are undefeated in each of their past three against Burnley at home. Moreover, they won two of these clashes without conceding.
I don’t envisage Wolves keeping their first clean sheet of the campaign given their defensive woes, but they could well win, and the BTTS part of the bet might be fulfilled too.
Tip 2: Total corners 10.5+ - 8/5
It may or may not come as much of a surprise that Wolves and Burnley haven’t been awarded many corners this term (52 combined).
Set pieces could play a key role, and in two of the past three league meetings, the Over 10.5 corners line has been met.
I’m predicting that there could be a few corners dished out this weekend, and the Over 10.5 line doesn’t seem too shabby if you fancy a punt.
Tip 3: Lesley Ugochukwu to score - 17/1
Burnley had shown glimpses of what they can produce, particularly in the recent 2-0 win over Leeds last weekend.
Their record on the road has been dismal, and they remain winless, but more worryingly, they have only netted twice on their travels. That said, Lesley Ugochukwu has been a bit of a livewire for the Clarets, scoring in each of his past two league outings.
His goal against Leeds was well-taken after he powered home a header from a delicious Kyle Walker cross, and he could give Wolves some food for thought. Ugochukwu is Burnley’s top scorer this term and he has a 40% goal conversion rate which is decent.
I don’t think it is beyond the realms of possibility that Ugochukwu could find the target against Wolves. The Frenchman is carrying longish odds to score anytime, which seems a little harsh given his recent record, but that hasn’t deterred me.
